UK: Prime Minister Boris Johnson's appeal, resolve to vaccinate everyone by the end of 2022

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson has made a big decision regarding vaccination against Corona. He said that next week he would appeal to the leaders of the G7 countries to resolve to fully vaccinate the world by the end of 2022. He said that vaccinating all people by the end of 2022 would be the biggest achievement in medical history.

I am urging my colleagues and G7 leaders to come with us to end this terrible epidemic. He said that all of us should resolve together to never allow the catastrophe caused by the corona virus to happen again. The three-day G7 summit will begin on Friday next week, and will include Germany, France, the United States, Italy, Japan and the European Union and Canada. Delta variant more dangerous than alpha variant
Meanwhile, UK Health Minister Matt Hancock said on Sunday that the Delta or B1.617.2 form of corona virus, which was first introduced in India, is 40 per cent more contagious than the alpha or so-called Kent form (VOC). The senior cabinet minister said the recent rise in cases of corona virus infection in the country was due to the spread of delta pattern and made it more difficult to unlock the scheme scheduled from June 21.

It is important to take both doses of the vaccine
He, however, said that most of the hospitalized people were not vaccinated due to delta nature and only 'extremely few' people were given both doses of Covid-19 vaccine. The Minister said that this reflects the scientific advice that one dose of vaccine against the delta form of concern is not as effective as the alpha form and taking both doses can be the only defense.

Hancock told Sky News that with this figure you can say that this format is about 40 percent more contagious, this is the latest consultation I have. This means that the virus with the Delta format is more difficult to manage, but importantly we believe that taking two doses of the vaccine will give you the same protection from the previous format.
